Wings of ink


For the theme 'WINGS' this month I am taking inspiration from tattoos.
I love the bold look of these designs and tattoos by artist Gre Hale:

I'm not getting another tattoo just yet but I love these styles.

    I used that Boy Toys print in my quilt for last month's challenge! Different colorway though :)

    I actually have my idea, but need to do more sewing to get the leftover fabric I will need for my challenge piece. If that makes sense.

    Oh I had sooo many ideas! I have evenyually decided to have a go at embroidery, it has been about 15 years since I did any! I was inspired by a lovely butterfly embroidery on pinterest - wish me luck!!!

    Wings is a great theme! I've just finished a quilt that would fit well - do I need to keep it under wraps until the linky on the 15th of May?
