Fast forward 3 months and we are ready to set the theme for
the first Le Challenge on Friday 15. There is a blog, there is a button, and
there are two lovely (huh huh) organisers with wild ideas about themes.
<div align="center"><a href="http://le-challenge.blogspot.co.uk/" title="Le Challenge"><img src="http://i1191.photobucket.com/albums/z475/Lucy_Brennan/lechallengebutton2_zps18ffdfca.png" alt="Le Challenge" style="border:none;" /></a></div>
So how does it work?
On the 15th
of every month, we will set a new theme for you (and us) to be inspired by.
Your homework should be in on 15th of the following month. One
theme, one month. All crafts, sizes of projects welcomed, in fact the more varied
the entries are the better.
To inspire you even more, some lovely sponsors will offer
giveaways and every entry will be put in a draw.
So what do you reckon? Are you ready for your first Le
Challenge? The theme will be announced on our blogs and Le Challenge blog.
We will be posting on Le Challenge regularly so be sure to
check out the blog.

It seems très très challenging indeed, even if ce n'est pas vraiment super clear about what nous serons challenged. Mais l'idée est very good, alors pourquoi not? If only pour le côté particulièrement bilingual de la thing. Et tant que les instructions de the challenge ne sont pas "1 inch squares & King size quilt", par exemple, each month... JJ
ReplyDeleteLes thèmes des challenges seront ouverts... Il y aura some room for interpretation.

ReplyDeleteSo that's what happens when you two give birth and have no pre-natal appointments to go to!
ReplyDeleteGreat idea! Will see what I can do!
p.s. does this mean one theme one month one project? Or if they are in different mediums can there be more than one? Gracias.
ReplyDeleteYou can make as many projects as you want, and they should be presented in one post (for one entry). Would be great to see how one person interpret the same theme through different mediums!
DeleteHI, Your challenge has really inspired me to get started on something I've wanted to try for ages. Sorry to be a bit daft, but do I need to have a blog/website to enter? Or can I post photos of my entry elsewhere? Thanks, Jx
ReplyDeleteIt is going to work as a Linky party, I am sure you can submit the project whichever you want - not necessarily with a blog. Looking forward to seeing your project.
