Geometric fabric love

I thought I'd share some fabric inspiration for our theme this month 'Geometrics'.
There's loads of great options for the theme at the Fat Quarter Shop and here's some of my favourites:

Jubilee by Bunny Hill, Sew Stitchy by Aneela Hoey, Comma by Zen Chic, Cream Triangle Dots by Pam Buda, Triangle Sun Rays by Jenn Ski

Or some of these fabulous pre cut hexagons by Moda:

30's Playtime Honeycomb Chloe's Closet for Moda FabricsSnow Bella Solids Honeycomb SKU# 9900HC-11Happy Go Lucky Honeycomb Bonnie & Camille for Moda Fabrics

I hope that's got you excited to go shopping and continue working on your projects!

The Fat Quarter Shop are kindly sponsoring Le Challenge and if you link up on the 15th April you will be in with a chance of winning a $20 gift certificate for the Fat Quarter Shop.

The winner will be chosen by Random.org so there's no pressure, it's not a competition, we want you to have fun making and look forward to seeing your entries!

Inspiration {Geometrics} Le Challenge #1

Right on cue, I downloaded the latest Homes and Antiques issue (April 2013) and there was a 'Design we love: Geometric patterns' column! Great minds and all that...

For those following my blog, you will know that this is the perfect theme for me. I thought I could indulge for more geometrics stalking - purely on a research for inspiration basis - and start a new board on pinterest - 20 pins in half an hour... I had to stop...

So what to do now? Which craft to choose? Have you made any progress yet? Let us know, we would love to read what you will be making and how and where do you find inspiration.

Have a great weekend everyone!

And the theme is ...

We went easy on you … the first theme is GEOMETRICS.  So it can be fabric, patterns, shapes – whatever takes your fancy!

So see you on le Challenge on April 15 with all your lovely projects!

Are you ready for Le Challenge?

In our pre-baby waiting hours, we dreamt up a new challenge open to all crafters – not just quilters, knitters or else. A theme would be set for all to interpret in their choice of crafty weapons.

Fast forward 3 months and we are ready to set the theme for the first Le Challenge on Friday 15. There is a blog, there is a button, and there are two lovely (huh huh) organisers with wild ideas about themes.

Le Challenge

So how does it work?

On the 15th of every month, we will set a new theme for you (and us) to be inspired by.

Your homework should be in on 15th of the following month. One theme, one month. All crafts, sizes of projects welcomed, in fact the more varied the entries are the better.

To inspire you even more, some lovely sponsors will offer giveaways and every entry will be put in a draw.

So what do you reckon? Are you ready for your first Le Challenge? The theme will be announced on our blogs and Le Challenge blog.

We will be posting on Le Challenge regularly so be sure to check out the blog.

Follow along by clicking the RSS box in the address bar, click to be a google friend or sign up for emails in the box on the right.

Grab the button for your blog and help spread the word!
