The Final Winners

You have all yet again made some fabulous projects! Here are the winners for the past two challenges...

For FINE the winner is Lisa Marie, who made a brilliant zip pouch with the theme 'library fines' and a sweet 'fine dining' pot holder:

For BLOSSOM the winner is The Lilac Cat, who made a pretty floral Stitchy Pie that she's using to hold her handmade alphabet pins:

I have been in touch so please reply and we can arrange your prizes!

That is the final giveaway and theme for le challenge.

We hope you will continue to support our fabulous sponsors Fat Quarter Shop, who have been with us for three years, and Eco Fabric Store / Fibers to Fabric. These shops have supported our blog by kindly providing prizes for you each month. We are very grateful!

Unfortunately Nat and myself are consumed with other projects and life goings-on so we cannot commit to this blog any more. We have really enjoyed creating so many fun themes and seeing all the amazing projects and interpretations you come up with each time.

Thank you so much for participating and inspiring us!

We are happy to return and always enjoy seeing your projects. Nat and I have worked hard creating our own projects for le challenge each month and while we plan to continue there have been personal changes and we both have lots of other commitments in our lives. After discussing it we agreed that we will take some of the pressure off ourselves by perhaps not always having our own projects to link up, we hope you understand and will continue to be inspired to take on the challenge!

And the winner is...

Debbie who made an insulated bag for her husband - featuring my son's favourite heroes (at the moment) - the ninja turtles!

Happy new year everyone!

More to giveaway! ~ New Sponsor ~ Eco Fabric Store / Fibers to Fabric

We are thrilled to welcome a new sponsor to Le Challenge!

"India is a country where being natural is not such a difficult thing. It is still the most basic lifestyle in our rural villages. People have better immunity, health and are in peace with themselves. India is a land where diversities really teach you if you are open to absorbing and learning. Extending natural living practices to fabrics being an integral part of our everyday lives was an idea I held very close to my heart - right from the days I graduated in Fashion Design. By God's grace, I met the right people who shared the same mission as I do and together the whole idea of natural plant extract dyeing and colors were formed. Eco Fabric Store is an honest attempt to fulfill that vision. All my fabrics are Eco Friendly and Earth friendly. The yarns are natural and are hundred percent biodegradable. We also offer a variety of fabrics made from Eco and Earth friendly fibers such as Organic Cotton, Bamboo, Hemp, Soyabean Protein, Banana and Ahimsa Silk".
- Vishruti, Eco Fabric Store owner

Eco Fabric Store has a really beautiful selection of Earth Friendly Fabrics, here's just a few examples:

Not only that but Vishruti runs another shop...

Fibers to Fabric stocks Indian Cotton, vintage fabrics, kits and notions:

So technically it's two sponsors but there will be one extra giveaway - the winner can chose which shop to spend a $10 gift certificate!

Please support our sponsors! We are so grateful to them for encouraging us all with our challenges :)

The new link opens tomorrow, if you missed the theme you can read about it here - it's a really encompassing theme so get creative and link up your finishes for a chance to win!

Saturday, 17 October 2015

And the winner is...

The winner of the $25 gift certificate to Fat Quarter Shop is...

Number 5, Kirsten from Gemini Stitches, who made these clever folded festive coasters:

Congratulations Kirsten!

Stay tuned for some exciting news and I'm hoping to provide some inspiration for this month's challenging theme :)

"The more restricted a method, the lesser the opportunity for one's individual freedom of expression." - Bruce Lee, Bruce Lee: Artist of Life
